Check-in and Check-out
  • What are the Check-In and Check-Out times? We guarantee rooms from 3:00 PM, and check-out is until 11:30 AM.
  • Is late Check-Out possible? Yes, with a small additional fee depending on the requested time. However, confirmation is subject to availability for the day.
  • Can I leave my luggage at the hotel? Certainly, there's no time limit, and it's free of charge.
PARKING AND CAR
  • Do you have parking? Yes, detailed information can be found in the WHERE WE ARE section.
  • Are you in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL)? Yes, detailed information can be found in the WHERE WE ARE section.
  • Can I leave my car in the parking after Check-Out? Yes, subject to availability for the day, always ask Reception for confirmation.
  • Do you have electric car charging? Is it paid? Yes, it needs to be booked, and costs are standard.
BREAKFAST
  • Is breakfast included, what are the timings, and is there a discount if not interested? Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM – it's a complimentary service included in your rate, so no discounts for non-utilization.
  • Do you have products for celiac or specific dietary needs? Yes, we continually expand our breakfast offerings to accommodate various dietary needs.
STRUCTURAL INFO
  • Do you have an elevator? No, we regret not having one due to structural constraints of our historical building. We're always available to assist with luggage.
  • Do you have rooms for disabled guests? No, we don't.
  • Do you have smoking rooms? No, all rooms and common areas are non-smoking. There's a designated smoking area in the courtyard.
  • Do you have a restaurant? No, but we're surrounded by excellent dining options; feel free to ask for recommendations!
  • Are pets allowed? Yes, small to medium-sized pets are welcome with a small fee. Please mention during booking for instructions. Pets cannot be left alone in the room, and they're not allowed in the breakfast area.
  • Are you open 24 hours? Yes, there's always someone at Reception.
PRICES AND PRE-AUTHORIZATION
  • Why is it more convenient to book directly? We strive to keep control over our rates, making direct bookings more advantageous. Also, direct contact allows for precise communication and tailored service.
  • What is credit card pre-authorization? Pre-authorization is a verification and guarantee system used by hotels worldwide to validate credit cards provided by guests during booking.
  • What is the amount of pre-authorization? It typically equals the cancellation penalty or the first night's stay.
  • When is pre-authorization done by the hotel? Generally a few days before your arrival.
  • What happens if pre-authorization is denied? You'll be asked to provide a new card within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in cancellation.
  • What happens at check-out? You can pay with your preferred method. The pre-authorization automatically cancels. If paying by cash, debit, or another card, we manually cancel the pre-authorization.
  • TOURIST TAX What taxes are included in the room price? VAT and service charges are always included. The city tax of Bologna is usually settled upon departure.
  • How much is the tourist tax in Bologna? It varies depending on the room rate, starting from €4.20 to €5 per person/night for up to 5 consecutive nights/month for guests aged 15 and above.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND FOOD WASTE
We encourage environmentally friendly practices and reducing food waste during your stay.
There are some good practices that it's good to keep in mind even when staying in a hotel. For example, you can inform the reception if you don't want your towels changed, or you can try not to leave the air conditioning or lights on when you're not in the room (in this regard, municipal guidelines for energy saving and pollution prevention require us not to set the temperature below 23 degrees Celsius). At breakfast, you'll find plenty of food available. We know that often our eyes are bigger than our stomachs, and it's common to serve oneself and then not consume everything on the plate. For this reason, every day we find ourselves throwing away a lot of food that cannot be recycled and ends up in the trash – while the leftover bread and pastries on the buffet, for example, are donated to charitable organizations operating in the area.
